Development of comprehensive reliability assessment method functioning of ship systems and equipment
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article considers the method of assessing the safety of a ship's voyage based on quantitative indicators of the reliability of systems and equipment. The proposed approach includes an a priori analysis at the design stage, which allows identifying potential weak points in the ship's design, as well as an a posteriori analysis, which is based on the processing of real operational data to assess the actual reliability. Key statistical averages such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to recovery (MTTR) are determined, as well as quantitative characteristics including failure rate and time-to-failure probability density function. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of regular monitoring and analysis of failure data, comparison of indicators with regulatory requirements, identification of components with low reliability and implementation of preventive measures. The proposed comprehensive approach to assessing the reliability of the functioning of ship systems and equipment contributes to increasing the safety and efficiency of the operation of sea vessels, providing a comprehensive assessment of reliability at all stages of the ship's life cycle
