A method for rearranging the parameters of two models of the volume curve

Abstract
The problem related to the recalculation of the parameters of the power equation of the fatigue curve and the parameters of the Weibull equation is considered. An analysis of one of the existing methods was carried out, which is based on a number of assumptions and therefore has low accuracy. It is emphasized that the development of this direction is relevant, as it expands the possibilities of comparative analysis of experimental data published in literary sources. In addition, the recalculation of the parameters of the fatigue curve allows for the extrapolation of the fatigue curve in the region of long durability. The article offers an analytical approach to recalculating the parameters of the power equation to the parameters of the Weibull equation using the «wxMaxima» computer mathematics system. Practical calculations were carried out in relation to the test results of four types of samples made of structural grades of steel.
